Background
People’s ideas about the afterlife vary greatly but are mostly vague. The exhibition »Goodbye & Hello« does not intend to create a concrete image; rather, it presents an impressive collection of audio recordings, photographic material, interviews, and bizarre objects that attempt or represent the communication with the beyond. With its graphic structures reminiscent of optical illusions, the immersive scenography and exhibition architecture, as well, oscillate between amazement and disbelief.
The International Forum Design in Hannover honored the exhibition with the iF communication design award 2009.
