Background
After many years of planning and remodelling, the Brandenburg State Exhibition designed by gewerkdesign once again filled Doberlug Castle, which had temporarily fallen into disrepair, with ambience and atmosphere.
With its stage-like architecture, fabric prints and complex digital animations the cultural-historical exhibition gives an account of the relationship between the neighboring states of Prussia and Saxony. Apart from scientists, the exhibition also features animated historical characters recounting their very own take on Prussia and Saxony. The animations were created in cooperation with the Film University Konrad Wolf in Babelsberg.
