The catalogue’s nine narrative chapters document the history, ideology, structure and influence of the Ministry for State Security (MfS) of the GDR. It presets the paradigmatic life stories of six GDR citizens, each of whom had become targets of the STASI. The stories are supplemented by documents, photographs, drawings and 12 essays by distinguished experts.
