gewerkdesign created the catalogue’s cover, its basic layout and all printed materials for the special exhibition »Our Black Forest – Romanticism and Reality« at the Augustinermuseums in Freiburg. The exhibition presents paintings, photographs, and religious objects from the Augustinermuseum’s large Black Forest collection in a modern and humorous way. The exhibition’s unconventional corporate design refers to stereotypes about the Black Forest (like fir cones or the traditional Bollenhut) and matches it with stereotypical expressions like: »Idyllic. Beauty.«, »True. Authenticity.« oder »Wild. Romantic.«
