Buchenwald and Mittelbau-Dora Memorials Foundation

The Buchenwald and Mittelbau-Dora Memorials Foundation has been responsible for the memorial and educational work of two sites since 2003. In 2023, a third site will be added. The existing appearance of the foundation reaches not enough individual visibility for its sites. Simultaneously, they hardly communicate their affiliation with one another or with the foundation. Hence, the foundation requires a new corporate design creating orientation and structure as well as enabling flexibility.

Each site requires its own unique face while concurrently identifying clearly as part of the group. A courageous and contemporary look should support the memorials in continuing to be perceived clearly by the public as important places of remembrance. The mission statement of the foundation is expressed in the content and the graphics of the new brand within an overall concept.
