Background
Preparing their move into a new, generously remodeled historic building in Moscow, the new GULAG Museum’s director Roman Romanow booked a two day seminar with gewerkdesign for himself and his young team.
The GULAG Museum was about to be remodeled completely and vastly extended. The seminar’s object was thus to examine the new exhibition concept, to formulate the requirements of the building and to roughly define the determining parameters of such implementation.
After discussing the concept, gewerkdesign presented an estimation whose phases and parameters were to be expected during the implementation of an exhibition project of that size based on their experience from previous exhibitions, and together with the GULAG museum’s team defined the factors particular to just this project.
Portfolio / Range of Services: concept, strategy and structure of the seminar in English, preparation and documentation, preparing and providing workshop materials
